I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding a persistent and serious issue involving a neighbouring property located opposite my garden.<br/><br/>A large, unmanaged tree on the adjoining property is causing the following significant problems:<br/><br/>1. Severe blockage of natural light to my property, particularly affecting [rooms/garden area], reducing my ability to reasonably enjoy my home.<br/><br/><br/>2. Interference with my internet signal, as the tree obstructs the line of sight needed for [satellite/wireless/fixed wireless] service.<br/><br/><br/>3. Ongoing physical damage to my fence, caused by encroaching roots and overhanging branches. This has resulted in considerable financial burden, with the need for repairs and ongoing maintenance.<br/><br/><br/>4. The situation appears to be part of a pattern of anti-social behaviour, as I have made previous requests to the neighbour which have been ignored or met with hostility. The lack of cooperation is exacerbating the issue.<br/><br/><br/><br/>I believe this matter may fall within the remit of the High Hedges or Statutory Nuisance provisions under the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003 and/or the Environmental Protection Act 1990.<br/><br/>I have documented evidence, including photographs and written records, which I am happy to provide upon request. I would appreciate it if the council could investigate this matter and advise what steps can be taken to resolve it.<br/><br/>If applicable, I would also like to formally request the initiation of a High Hedges complaint and ask for guidance on submitting the appropriate forms and any associated fees.<br/><br/>Thank you for your attention to this matter.
